The population health infrastructure of Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance and its proven ability to effectively manage patient populations sets it apart from other accountable care organizations. Since its formation, the Quality Alliance has successfully executed the three key strategies deemed essential to care management and ultimately clinical integration. The Quality Alliance focuses on implementing the patient-centered medical home, coordinating of care across every part of the patient experience and understanding risk in patient populations through data analytics.

In 2015, Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance was recognized with the Level 2 National Committee on Quality Assurance ACO accreditation for its capacity and motivation to collaboratively and accountably improve quality, reduce costs and coordinate patient care across the health care continuum.
